At Wakem-Up Ministry, everything we do is centered on one mission: to awaken hearts and lives with the hope of Jesus Christ. Through local and global outreach, we go where few are willing, into communities, college campuses, and neighborhoods marked by brokenness to share the Gospel through prayer, Scripture, and personal connection. Whether serving locally or partnering with ministries around the world, our heart is to make Jesus known, equip believers, and bring light where it’s needed most.
Upstate New York & Surrounding Area.
Wakem-Up Ministry is rooted in Rochester, NY, serving the surrounding communities (Buffalo, Syracuse) through ongoing evangelism and outreach. We go into neighborhoods affected by homelessness, addiction, and despair to share prayer, Scripture, and the hope of Jesus Christ.
We are also committed to discipling and training believers, equipping them to lead local outreaches so the Gospel continues to be shared even while our team serves on mission trips.
California
Our heart for California is twofold reaching students and serving the vulnerable. We evangelize on college campuses, praying with students, sharing the Gospel, and challenge young adults to pursue lasting change through Christ during a pivotal season of their lives.
At the same time, we engage in homeless outreach across the region, serving meals as a bridge to deeper conversations, prayer, and the life changing hope of Jesus Christ, just as we do in Rochester.
Puerto Rico
Our heart for Puerto Rico is rooted in sharing the Gospel and supporting communities through prayer, evangelism, and encouragement. These missions focus on bringing hope, strengthening faith, and partnering with local believers to reach people where they are.
Each Mission is guided by the Holy Spirit and shaped by the specific needs of the communities we serve, always pointing people back to the saving power of Jesus Christ. To learn more, contact us.

California
Mission
March 25 - April 6
We are prayerfully preparing for an impactful mission trip to California, where we will be ministering on Division 1 college campuses and in areas with a high population of individuals experiencing homelessness. Our mission is not only to serve food, but to boldly share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and pray with those we meet.
We will be partnering with La Habra Christian Church and Victory Outreach, supporting local efforts to reach the lost and encourage believers.
We are looking to reach our Fundraising Goal of $5,000. Money is a tool we use to advance the Gospel and the work of God’s Kingdom. We deeply appreciate any support you are able to provide.
